An update from the Vice President

Posted on

2014 has been and will continue to be an active year for IPAK. We have provided successful training for landlords, and look forward to future events in partnership with the California Apartment Association. We have also invested in upgrading our website, which will allow us to more easily serve and communicate with our members.

IPAK continues to be committed to being the premier association for property owners and managers in Kern County. We provide the information, networking, and education needed to help your business thrive in a challenging economy. We are also active in representing your interests in Bakersfield, Kern County and Sacramento.

As a volunteer organization we could not exist without the hard work of our members and board leadership. We are always accepting new members and industry partners. If you are currently a member, consider taking on a leadership position with the Board of Directors.

A Message from the President

Welcome to the Income Property Association of Kern’s website. As the voice for the rental housing industry in Kern County, we welcome you to join us either in membership or just to check out what we are all about. We are volunteers in the industry dedicated to assisting one another through education, networking, providing information, and representing Bakersfield and Kern County’s interests in Sacramento.

This year we are faced with tough economic times. This will affect our businesses and how we provide housing. IPAK is committed to being the lifeline property owners, property managers and vendors in the industry need to be successful. It takes dedication and hard work from the Board of Directors and from our members each day to provide the quality organization that we are. We ask that everyone share the benefits of the California Apartment Association with a colleague or friend in the business, join a committee, sponsor an event and attend our meetings. Collectively we can make a difference in our community.

It is my privilege and pleasure to be the Income Property Association of Kern 2012 President. I look forward to working hard for each of you.

Regards,

Lisa McFadden Neath
2012 IPAK President
